“I am passionate about golf. My husband and I play often, travel to other places to play beautiful courses, enjoy our golfing friends in Conway and making new friends by playing in golf tournaments around the state and country.
I was so fortunate during my time at UCA to meet my husband and make lifelong friends, not to mention get an excellent education from the likes of H.B. Hardy, Ralph Behrens, Jeff Farris, Arvil Burks, Fletcher Lowery, Ann Machen and many other professors who spent hours investing in us to be the best we could be.
My two degrees from UCA afforded me an opportunity to be an educator/administrator for over 30 years affecting the lives of thousands of children and enriching my life along the way. I am passionate about every child having the opportunity to receive a high-quality education.
My lifelong connection to UCA is still very strong today. Both my husband and I belong to the UCA Alumni Association and have our entire adult life; we attend Bear football, basketball, baseball and other athletic events and enjoy Reynolds Performance Hall.
Both of our children attended and graduated from UCA. Tammy, joined Sigma Kappa, and Bishop was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma, like his dad.
I have lifetime friends and sisters I cherish. The relationship with my sisters transcends time and continues to enrich my life. Sigma Kappa was my family away from home. We get together many Christmas seasons to celebrate our sisterhood and reconnect. We also see one another at UCA events at Reynolds Performance Hall, athletic events and now at our beautiful new sorority house on Donaghey Avenue. What a treasure!”
My Greek experience was and is a cornerstone event in my life that I cherish.
