“I have never been without an airplane. The airport has been not only been a part of my life; it has been my whole life. I know more days out there than anywhere else. My kids started going out there the minute they didn’t need diapers changed. It’s all my family has ever known. I didn’t realize I wanted to be a teacher until my time at school. ASTC was so well known that people got jobs immediately. It gave me the skills I needed to reach people and teach them.
If I’m going to take the time to do something, I want it to help someone else. I help the sorority today because someone helped me back then. I was raised to think in a positive attitude. I’ve always tried to find the positive about something and the good in people. Everyone has something good about them. Find that.”
My Greek experience led me to relationships that have become so meaningful and important.
