Biography:
Bob May has an MFA in playwriting from UNLV and currently teaches playwriting and screenwriting at the University of Central Arkansas.

Bob May has been active in the theatre for more than fifty years. He began as an actor and
moved on to directing, and over the years he has directed more than 450 productions. Directing
took a backseat to playwriting after he earned an MFA in Playwriting from the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas.
He has taught Playwriting and Screenwriting for thirty-five years at Brainerd (MN) Community
College, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and he
currently teaches at the University of Central Arkansas.
Forty of his plays have been published and been produced around the world. His book
Scriptwriting Structure: To the Point Pointers is published by Skye Bridge Publishing,
Asheville, NC.
He and his wife, Cathy, have a blended family of five children and five grandchildren.
