Angela earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Central Arkansas. She has worked in both commercial and residential interior design. Angela began her career as an interior designer at an architecture firm in Little Rock, Arkansas where she worked on large-scale commercial projects that included university buildings, mixed-use office buildings, and financial institutions. Since 2004, she has worked on a wide variety of residential design projects as a freelance interior designer. During her time in residential interior design, Angela has worked on new construction, remodels, and additions. She donates design services to benefit non-profit organizations whenever the opportunity arises. Angela is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Phi Epsilon Omicron and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She enjoys research and has an Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) from The Center for Health Design. Research interests include biophilic design, living roofs and walls, and enhancing human health and well-being and environmental sustainability through architecture and interior design. Angela enjoys spending time with her family, working on the family farm, and gardening.
