The 2024 general election is coming up soon on Tuesday, November 5th! UCA has an on-campus polling site in the Donaghey Hall Visitor Center that will be open from 7:30am to 7:30pm on Election Day. UCA Bears at the Ballot and Bear Advocacy Group will also host a Party at the Polls on election day from 11am-3pm with free food and giveaways!
How can you make sure that you are vote ready for November 2024?
STEP 1: Check your voter registration status at: www.voterview.ar-nova.org/. You can view your polling location and a sample ballot with candidates and issues you’ll be voting on here, too!
STEP 2: If you are NOT registered to vote, you are eligible to register to vote using your permanent home address OR using your UCA address. The deadline to register to vote in the November election was Monday, October 7th.
*If you want to register with your UCA address: If you live on campus, the address is 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway, AR 72035 in Faulkner County. Please note that if you register to vote using your campus address, you must also provide a valid mailing address on the voter registration application on Line 3.
*Registered to vote, but not in Conway? You can change the county you are registered in by filling out an updated Arkansas Voter Registration Application.
*Address changes must be received by the Faulkner County Clerk by Wednesday, October 30th.
*Busy on November 5th? All AR voters can participate in early voting from October 21st-November 4th. Early voting locations vary by county, and registered voters can view their early voting locations at www.voterview.ar-nova.org/.
Resources for UCA students interested in registering to vote in any state of residence are available at My.UCA.edu by searching “Voter Information.” You can fill out a voter registration form online to print, sign, and mail in for processing. SGA also has Arkansas voter registration forms available in the SGA office in the Ronnie Williams Student Center Room 208.
STEP 3: Make your plan to vote! UCA’s Vote Everywhere chapter, Bears at the Ballot, provides students access to Motivote, a tool you can use to check your voter registration status, make a plan to vote, and receive reminders of upcoming deadlines. Check it out at https://uca.motivote.us/.
We look forward to seeing you at the polls!
