Program Application Process

Prospective students can apply to the CSPA program at any time during the year. Applicants who qualify may enter the program on a full-time or a part-time basis.

Applicants must meet the general requirements for admission to the Graduate School and provide evidence of their ability to participate successfully in a graduate-level academic endeavor.

Admission to the Graduate School is based upon the following requirements:

  1. Online application
  2. Graduate School application fee
  3. Transcripts from all institutions attended
  4. Recommendation of CSPA program faculty

For more information, please visit the Graduate School application website.

Recommendation of the CSPA program faculty will be based on the following items (items 1-3 will be submitted within the Graduate School application portal):
  1. Resume
  2. Name and e-mail address of two professional references (one must be faculty) who can speak to your potential for graduate level coursework.
  3. Letter of Intent. One-page singled spaced letter than includes reasons for becoming a student affairs professional, reasons for applying to this program, and future goals in the profession.
  4. Upon receiving completed applications, program faculty will contact applicants regarding participation in the CSPA program interview, which is a required component for admission consideration.
