The Department of Communication at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Public Relations to begin August 2016. The position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years.
The Public Relations program at UCA draws from courses in communication and journalism as well as public relations. We seek applicants committed to excellence in undergraduate education with the ability to teach a variety of courses, which will include the introductory course in public relations, media writing, public relations tactics, and electives in the candidate’s area(s) of expertise. A Ph.D. in Public Relations or a related Communication specialty is required, ABD will be considered.
