2018 CNSM Boot Camp

The CNSM Boot Camp is designed to help students make the transition to the expectations of college prior to the start of the fall semester. It will help with the transition to college course work, learn skills for how to study for science courses, and take the stress out of the first semester.

Cost to Attend:

The cost of the program is listed below, depending upon whether you choose to live on campus or to commute:

Science Boot Camp program and lunch (daily): $150
Science Boot Camp program, campus housing, and daily meal plan: $325

 CNSM Boot Camp Objectives:

  • Learn effective study habits for science/math courses
  • Participate in science labs
  • Experience science/math lectures
  • Complete a team research exercise
  • Take science/math tests
  • Learn how to write lab reports
  • Learn what online resources can be used to improve academic success in science/math courses
  • Evaluate your science/math test taking skills
  • Experience academic support in UCA’s tutoring and writing centers
