Duties: As a Ticket Agent for Reynolds Performance Hall, you will be the first person the public will be in contact with when trying to buy tickets. You must be friendly, easygoing, and able to have patience when a customer isn’t sure about what they want. This is the most important skill for the job.

You will be responsible for knowing and maintaining knowledge in an ongoing basis regarding the shows brought to Reynolds for which we sell tickets. This includes names of shows, dates, prices, et al. You will be required to perform basic monetary transactions using all forms of payment, so cash handling ability is a must.

English speaking at a native level is mandatory because communication must be as flawless as possible to ensure the customer gets what they need.

• Clean and neat in appearance
• Available to start May 2 (or very close) and work the whole summer with little to no lapse in timing availability described below
• Availability between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday, with higher regard given to 11-2
• Able to work some nights and weekend nights as needed for ~ 2 hours

Several departments in the Torreyson Library have student worker positions to be filled. Job responsibilities and skills needs are specific to each department. They generally include but are not limited to the following:

  • straightening and dusting books
  • pull withdrawn books, bound journals, and periodicals from the shelves and box them up
