Responsibilities
• Assists with design, review of installation and routine inspections of AECC power plants
• Coordinates testing programs for AECC power plant performance relating to heat rate, capability and availability.
• Coordinates with plant personnel to provide engineering designs, equipment specifications, and other work package documentation to support improvement projects for existing plant systems.
• Manages vendor coordination, procurement of materials and services, work execution and closeout of engineering projects as required.
• Participates in power plant, co-generation, repowering and market performance studies and in other matters relating to this area of responsibility.
• Assists in research for and writing of technical reports; solicits assistance of other staff members to perform work within their capability.
• Advises other staff members, power plant managers, personnel, and member cooperatives' personnel upon request of facts relating to area of responsibility and assists them in the performance of their duties in times of need as directed.
• Maintains contact with personnel of like responsibility in other power supply systems to exchange technical information and to cooperate in projects of mutual interest.
• Stays abreast of related current scientific developments and governmental regulations and uses every opportunity to become better qualified in this area of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Valid Driver's license

Undergo thorough training curriculum on gowning, compounding, aseptic manipulations, USP 797 regulations, FDA cGMP-503B regulations, media fills, internal SOP's.
Prepare materials to be entered into compounding areas.
Print off batch information
Garb up using fully sterile gowning attire
Prepare IV admixtures per client order, as well as batch compounding of routine items.
Typical admixtures prepared at this facility include IV Bags, syringes, Vial products, specialty container closures.
Document work performed at multiple stages in the process.
Participate and assist with line clearance activities
Continuous improvement, safety, and training
Identify, communicate and solve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met

Other duties could include at times:
Label, package and document per written instructions
Package product in IV Bags, cartons, syringes, vials, overwraps.
Count materials/product to ensure accurate count
Apply labels to various components
Replenish packaging materials to areas/work cells as directed by Group Leader.
Assist with Inventory
Verify incoming materials for use
Perform bar code and systems challenges (as applicable) for equipment used
Complete end of batch reconciliation and count verification
Retrieve product samples
Monitor and ensure appropriate downtime and efficiency information is logged accurately

Qualifications Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Qualifications):
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong, consistent attention to detail.
Ability to focus and have high level of attention to detail, even as fast pace.
1 year previous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.
Ideal candidate is licensed, certified pharmacy technician, but not required.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software
There are minimum training requirements for each operator level
Must have a strong understanding of professionalism and responsibility to have the chance to prepare these sterile medications.

Physical / Safety Requirements:
Ability to pass eye examination, and or begin wearing corrective lenses
