Primary Responsibilities • Assists in performing design and analysis work related to AECC production and transmission facilities. • Collects and organizes design data, manufacturer specifications, drawings, documents, publications and research materials and updates and maintains reports and databases. • Assists with project management functions in accordance with the division project management framework standard.  • Assists with procurement and contracting related to purchase of equipment, material, construction labor and engineering services, including performing research for the writing of construction and material specifications and preparing requests for quotations and evaluating quotations.  • Assists with engineering accounting functions including preparation of budget items and work orders and processing invoices.  • Assists with department engineering records management to insure that all engineering records for AECC production and transmission facilities are developed and controlled in a consistent manner in accordance with the division records management standard. • Assists with production and transmission equipment and facility testing programs. • Keeps supervisor informed at all times of matters important to the Cooperative, particularly where member cooperatives or other power supplies are involved.  • Attends seminars and workshops on job related subjects as directed. • Assists PP&D staff in the performance of their duties with technical and other assistance as directed.
Education & Experience • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar related field is required.

  • The Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting in promotion of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience through approved Girl Scout Branding Guidelines and strategies. This position is responsible for supporting initiatives, programs, fundraising efforts and media coverage. In these capacities this individual may be asked to write press releases and assist with public relations functions.
