BeWell Program Overview

BeWell financial incentives are available to all benefits-eligible employees and retirees enrolled in UCA’s health insurance. The annual BeWell cycle is Nov. 1 to Oct. 31. All program components must be completed and submitted by the Oct. 31 deadline. Participation is voluntary.


Create Your myHealthCheck360 Account

BeWell has partnered with HealthCheck360 to offer eligible employees a lifestyle management tool, called myHealthCheck360. Create your user account and use myHealthCheck360 to review your biometric screening results, complete your Health Risk Assessment Survey, log your healthy habits and activities, participate in wellness challenges, and schedule health coaching.


Insurance Premium Discount Incentive

Eligible employees may participate in a biometric screening and complete a Health Risk Assessment survey to earn a health insurance premium discount for the next calendar year. Complete both activities prior to Oct. 31 each year to qualify.

No cost, confidential on-site screenings are offered on the UCA campus at designated times each year. Or you have the flexibility to complete your screening with your own medical provider. The Health Risk Assessment survey takes less than 5 minutes and is accessible via the HealthCheck360 website or mobile app once your screening results are processed.

 Bear Bucks Incentive

Eligible employees may earn BearBucks for logging healthy habits and activities on myHealthCheck360. Accumulate Lifestyle Rewards to achieve the incentive level that is right for you! All qualifying activities must be logged on myHealthCheck360 by the Oct. 31 deadline. A list of eligible activities is included in the 2023-2024 UCA BeWell Program Guide.

  • 150 points = $50 in BearBucks
  • 200 points = $75 in BearBucks
  • 250 points = $100 in BearBucks

BearBucks are awarded in early December and are accepted at these participating retailers. BearBucks are taxed as income on your paycheck per IRS regulations. If you want to participate in Lifestyle Rewards but prefer to opt out of receiving the BearBucks, you must notify BeWell by Nov. 15. UCA retiree’s do not qualify to receive BearBucks.


Resources for Healthy Living

The BeWell Resources Page features on-campus and virtual resources to support all aspects of wellness, including educational webinars, fitness and mindfulness tools, health coaching, nutrition counseling, condition management programs and support groups, and professional development opportunities.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supports UCA employees and family members experiencing distress.

If you are unable to meet a health outcome for an incentive under the BeWell/HealthCheck360 program, you can work with HealthCheck360 and, if you wish, your primary care physician for an opportunity to earn the same incentive through a reasonable alternative process.
