BeWell Program Overview

BeWell is a voluntary program available to all benefits-eligible employees and retirees enrolled in UCA’s health insurance. The annual BeWell cycle is November 1 to October 31. All participation requirements must be completed and submitted by the October 31 deadline.

Step 1: Create Your myHealthCheck360 Account

BeWell has partnered with HealthCheck360 to offer employees a lifestyle management tool, called myHealthCheck360. Create your user account and use myHealthCheck360 to review your biometric screening results, complete your Health Risk Assessment Survey, log your healthy habits and activities, participate in wellness challenges, and schedule health coaching.

The myHealthcheck360 mobile app makes it easy to participate in BeWell.

Step 2: Get Healthy, Earn Incentives

Biometric Screening and Health Risk Assessment Survey

Eligible employees may participate in a biometric screening and complete a Health Risk Assessment survey to earn a health insurance premium discount for the next calendar year. Complete both activities prior to October 31 to be eligible for a $20 per month discount. Complete both activities and score at least a 75/100 or improve by 5+ points from last year to earn a total of a $40 per month discount. Learn more about biometric screening scoring.

Onsite biometric screenings are conveniently offered on campus at designated times each year. Employees who are screened on campus have their results automatically sent to HealthCheck360. No form submission is necessary. As an alternative, employees are welcome to have a biometric screening performed by their own physician. Be sure to print and bring the Physician Wellness Screening Form 2020-2021 if you choose to have your doctor perform your biometric screening.

Once your biometric screening results have been received and processed by HealthCheck360, your Health Risk Assessment Survey will be available for completion on myHealthCheck360.

Onsite screenings for 2020-2021 will be announced in spring 2021.

Lifestyle Rewards

Eligible employees may earn BearBucks for logging healthy habits and activities on myHealthCheck360. Accumulate Lifestyle Rewards to achieve the incentive level that is right for you! The BearBucks incentive structure is as follows:

150 points = $50 in BearBucks
200 points = $75 in BearBucks
250 points = $100 in BearBucks

BearBucks are accepted at these participating retailers.

BearBucks are taxed as income on your paycheck per IRS regulations. If you want to participate in Lifestyle Rewards but prefer to opt out of receiving the BearBucks, you must notify the wellness coordinator by November 15.

Resources for Healthy Living

The BeWell Resources Page features on-campus and virtual resources to support all aspects of wellness, including educational webinars, fitness and mindfulness tools, health coaching, nutrition counseling, condition management programs and support groups, and professional development opportunities.
