Two College of Business economics students presented research that they have co-authored with UCA faculty at the 50th annual meeting of the Public Choice Society in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 7-10, 2013.
Britney Logan presented her paper “Does Interest Group Sclerosis Occur via New Business Venturing” (co-authored with Dr. Noel Campbell). Stephen Gross presented “Public Corruption in a Standard Model of Business Venturing” (co-authored with Dr. Noel Campbell).
Both papers were well received by the conference attendees. Both students travel and conference fees were paid for through a grant Dr. David Mitchell received to support undergraduate economics research at UCA from the Koch Charitable Trust Foundation.
