Rick Scott, dean of the Honors College, has been elected vice president of the National Collegiate Honors Council. He will begin the position immediately and work through a succession of offices: president-elect in 2012 (where he will organize the national conference to be held in Boston that year), president in 2013, and immediate past president in 2014.
