Are you ready to make a career change but aren’t quite sure how? Do you have passion for learning and trying new things? Are you interested in software development and learning what possibilities are out there for you?
Our intro class might be just the thing for you! During our four night introduction course, potential students have the opportunity to learn more about the languages we teach, meet alumni, and learn about our career support programs.
Here’s the breakdown:
Each of the first three nights are dedicated to learning a little about each different language we teach here at ArCA.
Night 1 is all about HTML, which is a great language for students to start to get their feet wet with coding. In class, our students use HTML a lot in their final projects.
Night 2 is SQL night. SQL is a language used pretty often in the second half of our classes and is an important and frequently used language in the land of software development.
Night 3 is a night for Java (no, not the coffee. Although we’ll have that, too!). The first half of our class is primarily focused on Java development. Night 3 will be a night to let students see how Java functions with the other two languages they’ve already learned that week.
The big finale of the intro course comes on Thursday. This last night is dedicated to career support and a panel of our alumni. Students will get an overview of our career support program (think resumes, cover letters, the works) and an opportunity to talk with our staff, alumni and current students of our programs.
So, if you’ve ever thought “Maybe this software development think could be for me”, head on over to http://arkansascodingacademy.com/intro/ to register for our introductory course today! Hope to see you there!
