Why I Do What I Do:

My interest and passion in college student affairs came about because of personal experiences and a desire to help. As I look back on how I made it to college, who helped me along the way, what motivated and encouraged me to stay in college, and what resources were available to me, I have a strong desire to help others. I want to help students transition from high school into college and see them graduate, by helping them become aware of all their resources, how to find their place and voice on campus, and how to develop their strengths, talents and skills. For me, the joy of knowing that even the smallest contributions can impact students’ lives and lead them to succeed is priceless.
