How do I reserve space in Buffalo Alumni Hall?
We need your basic information to create a reservation for you. You can request reservations using the Google Form here. Once you receive our confirmation, you will have 2 weeks to return the rental agreement with any required fees.
Is there a discount for UCA Alumni Association members?
Beginning September 2024, life members of the Alumni Association will receive a 10% discount, and annual members will receive a 5% discount. This discount may not be applied to corporate events.
Are there guidelines about decorations?
Yes, we do have certain policies regarding decorations.
- Decorations may not be affixed to walls, ceilings, or any surface.
- No open flame candles are permitted.
- All types of confetti and glitter are prohibited.
- No posters or banners will be permitted on the building exterior or grounds without the express written consent of the UCA Foundation.
- Party decorations and furniture rearrangements must be coordinated in advance with the building administrator.
- Flowers, rice, birdseed, wheat, and other similar materials may not be tossed as you exit either the room or the building.
How late can a room be reserved?
All events must conclude no later than midnight (including cleanup and decoration removal).
Can any outside food or beverage be brought into Buffalo Alumni Hall?
All food and beverages are preferred to come from and be served by UCA’s contract vendor, Aramark but it is not mandatory. A special occasion cake can be supplied by an outside vendor.
Can we serve alcohol in Buffalo Alumni Hall?
Yes, alcohol can be served at your event as long as it is approved through the building administrator and a proper request form has been received.
What are the parking options for our guests?
Convenient parking, including handicap accessible spaces, is available in several lots located around Buffalo Alumni Hall. Please refer to the map for exact locations.
Will you have a staff member onsite during our event?
On most occasions, we will have a staff member here for the duration of your event. They are here to assist with any room setup adjustments you might have, room temperature control, and audio-visual needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
In most cases, there will not be fees incurred from cancellations. Cancellations will be accepted provided that notification is given in writing to the building administrator. The Foundation reserves the right to charge any costs incurred before cancellation. In cases where an event is canceled but no notification is given to our office, a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
