Health Education

Are you interested in working with people in your community to improve the quality of their lives through promoting physiological scientific awareness, and facilitating learning and behavioral change? The Health Education major at the University of Central Arkansas will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and experience you need to educate the public on health concerns, and plan, implement, and manage health initiatives in your local community. The comprehensive curriculum includes courses in: health education theory, epidemiological research, health promotion intervention, community health problems, microbiology in human affairs, healthcare marketing and program planning, evaluation, and administration.
