  • Professional Development is available for course credit, by working with professionals in a transformative internship program in a wide variety of clinical settings and state agencies, which provides students with experience in the field, connections within the community, a proven work record, and can even lead to permanent job placement. Students are also encouraged to participate in the UCA Adopt-a-Grandparent organization, which gives students the opportunity to create meaningful, one-on-one relationships with area seniors. Whether playing cards, catching up on the news, or simply providing contact and conversation, this program enriches the lives of aging participants and volunteers alike.
