University Overview

Universidad Internacional del Ecuador (UIDE) is an internationally accredited private university located in the heart of modern Quito. International students usually take advantage of UIDE’s extensive sports offerings, ranging from horse riding and paintball to salsa classes. UIDE offers classes with a maximum of 25 students to ensure personalized assistance for foreign students.

Semester Calendar

Fall:  August – December
Spring:  February – June

Education Abroad Credits

Typically students take the equivalent of 12 to 15 credit hours abroad. Check with our office for more information about your specific options.

Primary Language of Instruction: Spanish with some courses taught in English.

UCA students pay regular tuition, and all scholarships and financial aid apply. For more information, view the Financial Aid Guide. Students should check with Financial Aid and the Office of Education Abroad for more information regarding the cost of a semester exchange.
