During summer 2016, CSPA graduate students and Dr. Susan Barclay (Faculty Leader) traveled to Varginha, Brazil to study abroad with UCA partner university, UNIS. The group learned more about higher education in South America through being a part of Global Congress, attending lectures from UNIS staff and faculty, and by participating in various cultural activities.

The 2018 study abroad will include a 12 day study tour that will immerse CSPA students into a university setting. The study abroad will include a comparative of higher education and student affairs as well as multiple cultural experiences. This program will finish concluding with a three-day cultural immersion in Rio de Janeiro.
