Scholarships, Grants and Internships

Are you currently enrolled in STEMteach courses? UCA recently received the Noyce Scholarship Grant worth $1.2 million. Applications and contact persons for this grant will be available soon. Please check back for updates. (applicants must be admitted into the college of education)

The Federal TEACH Grant is a grant program designed to recruit and retain qualified teachers into high need subject areas in low-income schools or educational service agencies. The amount of the awards will vary but will not exceed $4,000 per year. Click here for more information.

UCA STEMteach Internships through the Noyce Grant are available to STEMteach sophomores and juniors. Noyce Interns will have the opportunity to participate in summer research projects with Master Teachers so they can enjoy the rewards of teaching while strengthening teaching skills. STEMteach will assist recipients identifying internship positions that meet their interests and time constraints.

The internship program will serve as a primary recruitment vehicle for Noyce Scholars.
