Our Services

Spring 2014

The services we are offering this semester include speech-language evaluations, hearing evaluations, auditory processing evaluations, speech and language screenings, individual therapy and three specialty programs. Please see below for more information about each service.

Speech-language evaluations

Speech-language evaluations must occur prior to beginning treatment. Evaluations are typically scheduled for 2 hour blocks of time. Evaluations are conducted by our graduate students and supervised by ASHA certified and licensed speech language pathologists. A comprehensive diagnostic report is generated from this assessment. If therapy is recommended, the client has the option of receiving therapy in our clinic or elsewhere.

Our evaluation fees are based on a sliding scale. Please click on the link below to view our evaluation fee structure form.

Contact Leslie George at 501-450-5776 or lgeorge@uca.edu if you would like to schedule an evaluation.

Hearing evaluations

Comprehensive hearing evaluations are available for both adults and children (ages 6 months and above). Hearing evaluations are conducted by an ASHA certified and licensed audiologist. Recommendations and/or referrals to physicians or amplification providers will be provided as needed.

Speech and hearing screenings

Speech and hearing screenings are available for all ages if there is a concern. The result will indicate a pass or refer for further testing. The cost is $10 per screening. If a full evaluation is needed, the paid screening fee will be applied to the evaluation fee. Contact Leslie George at 501-450-5776 to schedule a screening.

Individual therapy

Individual therapy sessions are conducted by a graduate student under the supervision of an ASHA certified and licensed speech language pathologist. Individual sessions can be once or twice weekly and each session lasts 50 minutes. A current speech language evaluation report is needed prior to initiating therapy services. The evaluation report does not have to be completed at our clinic. Our therapy fees are based on a sliding scale. Please click on the link below to view our fees for therapy.
