Hearing Evaluations

 

The UCA Speech, Language and Hearing Center offers complete audiological  evaluations to determine the presence, type and severity of hearing impairment to clients of all ages. Assessments are conducted using age-appropriate testing to determine hearing status, candidacy for amplification and/or referral for medical evaluations.

Characteristics of Disability: Untreated hearing loss can affect your ability to understand speech and can negatively impact your social and emotional well-being. There is help for persons with hearing loss, but the first step is to visit an audiologist, who can evaluate your hearing and determine the type and degree of your hearing loss.
