Dr. Wang received her PhD in Biology with specialization in Physiology & Cell Biology from the University of Kansas and her MS in Clinical Investigation from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Wang obtained her MD from Jiangxi Medical College, China and was certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in the U.S. As an assistant professor in the department, Dr. Wang teaches courses in Pathology, Physiology and Anatomy. With her specialization in clinical investigation of diabetes and diabetic complications, Dr. Wang’s research is focused on diabetic foot-ulcer prevention and wound healing.
