Psi Chi International Honor Society

  • The purpose of Psi Chi shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology.
  • Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests and who meet the minimum qualifications.
  • Psi Chi maintains a very active chapter at UCA. It is a great way to become more involved, seek leadership opportunities, get involved in research, get involved in community service, learn more about careers in psychology, and become better acquainted with psychology students and faculty. Minimum qualifications include completion of at least 3 psychology courses and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00. Contact Dr. Shawn Charlton (450-5415; e-mail) for more information and to apply for membership.
