"United Nations Day" Events in central Arkansas:

Since 1948, UN Day has been commemorated in the U.S. and other countries on October 24th (the date in 1945 on which the UN Charter officially went into effect).  Since 2005, "United Nations Day" events have been held annually in central Arkansas.  The University of Central Arkansas in Conway hosted UN Day events in 2005, 2006, and 2007.  The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has hosted UN Day events in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.  Pulaski Academy in Little Rock hosted the UN Day event in 2009.
