Teresa Conquest

Teresa Conquest’s roots run deep in southern cooking. Growing up in small town Arkansas, her childhood days were spent in her grandparents country mercantile, enjoying family campouts, summertime picnics and church potlucks. Teresa’s love of cooking has been handed down from the women who raised her. She believes sharing recipes is sharing memories. Little did she know her background as a “sous chef” and “table setter” in her grandma’s tiny home kitchen would evolve into a career as a professional caterer and event planner.

After returning home to Arkansas from Arizona, she worked as a Manager for the family owned catering business. For the past 15 years, she has worked with Aramark as Catering Director at the University of The Ozarks and the University of Central Arkansas and is currently Food Service Director for the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She is also building a cooking/lifestyle blog, S.A.L.T., with her three daughters and writing a cookbook.
