The Central Arkansas Small Business Series is a four-part series of workshops designed to help small business owners succeed in their quest to establish, develop, grow, and maintain healthy and thriving businesses or other small organizations. Each session will focus on a different organizational topic. At the end of this series, participants will be well-equipped to put their business in position to prosper! Sessions will be held at UCA Downtown in downtown Conway.

Making Your Small Business Competitive with Chain Stores and Big Box Retailers

Small businesses are essential to the economic development of any community. But how do small businesses compete with the big box retailers in their community? This session provides cost effective tips to survive in the ever-changing retail environment and teaches merchants how to maintain a competitive advantage against the larger chain stores–locally and online. As well, a panel of local business owners will share their proven strategies for success.
