Society tells us thin is in. For many children and adolescents, the desire to be thin could lead to an eating disorder. Unknown to most, an eating disorder is a disease that affects both female and males alike. Recognizing the warning signs and knowing when to refer someone for help can be a life-saving intervention. Dr. Tracie Pasold and Dr. Maria Portilla pair up to offer their expertise on eating disorders with a two-part presentation entitled, “Eating Disorders in Children and Adolescents.” This seminar is a must for anyone who works with or knows a child or adolescent.
