Summer Orientation and Academic Registration (S.O.A.R.)

SUMMER ORIENTATION AND ACADEMIC REGISTRATION

Our S.O.A.R. program is a one-day program designed to familiarize new students (and parents) with the logistics of campus, key buildings and offices, and provide them with their first semester class schedule. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow incoming new students, professors in one’s area of study, and complete everything needed to begin the journey of a higher education. Orientation leaders will be on hand to not only guide new students through this process, but to create a sense of ‘home’ and excitement. SOAR is reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

** Because of space requirements, we can accommodate up to two quests per student.  SOAR sessions are intended for the incoming student and their guardian(s) or spouse**

PLEASE SELECT WHICH TYPE OF INCOMING STUDENT YOU ARE

Freshmen are considered any students who are entering into UCA with under 30 credit hours. If you graduated from high school in 2012, you are considered a freshman no matter how many hours you will transfer.  Freshman Transfers need to register under FRESHMAN.

Transfer SOAR is designed for anyone transfering to UCA with 30 or more credit hours. If you graduated from high school in 2012, you are considered a freshman no matter how many hours you will transfer.
