The class begins March 5 and meets on consecutive Saturdays from Noon to 2 p.m. through March 26 in the Studio Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center. The registration fee for the four-week course is $80.

The Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas is sponsored by UCA Theatre in conjunction with the UCA Theatre Foundation and provides unique creative theatrical experiences for children in grades 3-12.

Formed in 1990 as a summer performance camp, the Youth Theatre recently expanded and now offers classes and workshops for students who are ready to broaden their acting skills. Classes are offered for beginning and advanced students at all age levels. All classes are being taught by Ruthann Curry Browne, a UCA theatre adjunct professor and professional actress.

Shakespeare is Fun! introduces students to the language, meaning, and action in Shakespearean plays. Participants will learn to score scripts, and work on monologues, soliloquoys and scenes. Students will also be special guests of UCA Theatre at their production of Hamlet scheduled for mid-April.
