UCA to host Parents? Night Out

The University of Central Arkansas Bears and Sugar Bears student-athletes will host a ?Parents? Night Out? on Friday, March 12 at the Farris Center.

The UCA student-athletes will be entertaining children ages 5 through the fifth grade to allow parents a night off to enjoy dinner, a movie or shopping without their children.

While the parents are out, the children will be taking part in a host of fun activities at the Farris Center, including games, cartoons, crafts and more with representatives from all 12 of UCA?s varsity sports.

Children can be dropped off at the Farris Center beginning at 6 p.m. and should be picked up by 10 p.m. The cost will be $5 per child, with all proceeds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Donations will also be accepted for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Reservations can be made by calling 450-5244 or by e-mailing Laura Clayton at lclayton@uca.edu. There is space for 100 kids so make reservations early.

This fundraising project is being conducted through a consolidated effort by all NCAA Division II institutions.
