UCA Theatre to Present Rock & Roll Musical

 

UCA Theatre will present Spring Awakening by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik on April 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19 at 7:30 pm in the Bridges/Larson Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center on the campus of UCA, 201 Donaghey in Conway.

 

Spring Awakening is a landmark musical which blends morality, sexuality, and rock & roll in a powerful performance as it celebrates the unforgettable journey from youth to adulthood. The production won eight Tony awards including Best Musical and Best Original Score in 2007.

 

The production is under the direction of Dr. Kevin Thomas Browne with musical direction by guest artist, Michael Heavner and choreography by guest artist, Lisa Harper. Costume design is by UCA Theatre major Haley Tynes with lighting design by UCA Theatre major Josh Anderson.

 

Tickets are $10 each for the general public and 2 free with a current UCA I.D. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling 501-450-3265 or through UCA Ticket Central, located in the Reynolds Performance Hall box office.
