The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees approved a resolution to allow in-state tuition to some military servicemen, veterans and their families. The resolution was approved during the board’s meeting today.
Starting with the 2015-2016 academic year, military students who fall into the following categories will receive in-state tuition:
- A veteran who was discharged or released from active duty within three years before the date of enrollment
- The dependent of such a veteran
- A member of the armed forces
- The spouse of or a member of the armed forces
