UCA ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR TO RECEIVE SERVICE AWARD

A University of Central Arkansas associate professor will be named an award winner at the Arkansas Physical Therapy Association (ArPTA) banquet.

Dr. Steve Forbush, associate professor of physical therapy and board-certified orthopedic specialist, will be honored with the ArPTA Distinguished Service Award at the ArPTA Awards Banquet on Saturday, Sept. 29. According to the organization, the award recognizes those who have made “significant contribution to physical therapy in Arkansas in one or more of the following areas: public awareness, administration, education, patient care or research.”

The ArPTA is a nonprofit organization that aims to represent, promote and develop the profession of physical therapy, along with meeting the needs and interests of the physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students who maintain membership.
