SPRING REGISTRATION OPEN FOR UCA COMMUNITY EDUCATION

CONWAY – Registration is now open for Spring 2012 Community Education courses offered through Outreach and Community Engagement at the University of Central Arkansas. Community Education offers non-credit courses to individuals of all ages seeking personal or professional enrichment.

Classes offered for the spring cover a wide variety of interests, including business and finance, career and technology, arts and communication, and lifestyle and leisure.

“Our community education classes are a unique blend of subject areas tailored to the needs and desires of our community,” says Lawana Hawkins, coordinator of Community Education. “It’s a cluster of courses designed to enrich the lives of the residents of Faulkner County and surrounding communities.

New offerings for the Spring include American Sign Language, Cake Decorating, Dance Fit line Dance, Smart Cycling: Traffic Skills 101, and Employment Outlook. Additional courses can be viewed on the community education website, at uca.edu/community-ed/.

Interested participants can register online or by phone. Registrations entered by February 10 are awarded an early bird rate and have the option to pay upon registration or by class start date.
