CONWAY — On its fourth U.S. tour, Drumline LIVE will make a stop at the University of Central Arkansas on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall.

Drumline Live was created by the music team behind the 20th Century Fox hit movie based on the historically black college and university marching band tradition.

“It is basically marching band and theatre combined,” said Ashley Love, director of finance and patron services for UCA Public appearances. “It has high energy and creativity.”

Tickets are sold out, but the box office will be selling any turnback tickets starting at 6:30 p.m. the night of the show.

The show brings a wide variety of musical performances, from contemporary hip hop, R&B, classic Motown tunes, and the great brass tradition, all with interesting choreographed routines.

According to www.drumlinelive.com, “With riveting rhythms, bold beats and ear-grabbing energy, the staged show will be a synchronized musical showcase of the HBCU experience.”
