Public Service Day Activities Planned

The UCA Department of Political Science, along with several UCA student organizations, are sponsoring “Public Service Day” on Wednesday, March 21, to raise awareness among students of career possibilities in the public and non-profit sectors.

James “Skip” Rutherford, Dean of the William J. Clinton School of Public Service, will be the keynote speaker at the Public Service Day luncheon, which begins at noon in Student Center Room 215A.

Rick Roberts, Diplomat-in-Residence at the University of Oklahoma, will discuss careers in the U.S. Foreign Service from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. in Students Center Room 214A.

Afterward, several speakers will discuss careers in local/state government and non-profit organizations during a panel discussion from 3-4 p.m. in Student Center Room 214A.

Representatives and information on graduate and law school programs will be available at a reception from 4-5 p.m. in Student Center Room 213A.
