Presentations and Publications 11/10

The following faculty have reported presentations, publications, awards and honors: Dr. Letha J. Mosley, Department of Occupational Therapy, made an oral presentation on Nov. 8, at the American Public Health Association’s 134th Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. The paper, “Program Planning in Medical Education to Facilitate Students’ Cultural Competency: A Cross Case Analysis”, was co-authored by Dr. Felicia Taylor (Health Science Department) and Dr. Byron Ross (Speech Language Pathology Department).

Dr. Jim Guinee, training director at the counseling center, recently presented two workshops at the 1st annual conference of the Arkansas Christian Counselors and Therapists in Little Rock. The presentations were “Grief counseling: The challenge for Christian counselors” and “Spiritual Abuse Recovery: A Case study of an ex-Jehovah’s Witness.”

Victor Prati, a second year student at the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, had an article published in a peer-reviewed journal in October 2006.
