Due to the serious threat of inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions overnight and tomorrow, all academic instruction scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, will be remote. We are continually monitoring the National Weather Service briefings and likely scenarios for this system. If there are any further operational changes, we will provide those updates to you via your email as well as through social media. Your instructors will communicate additional details specific to classes in the coming hours, so please watch your UCA email closely for those updates. Students in clinical sites should check in with their supervisors.
While instruction will be remote tomorrow, the campus will remain open for essential services. Supervisors, in coordination with division vice presidents, should communicate with employees regarding on-site staffing needs. Offices should otherwise utilize their remote work plans, as appropriate.
Hours for campus services will be adjusted as follows:
- Dining Options:
- Christian Cafeteria will be open for breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 4 to 7 p.m.
- Chick-fil-A in the Student Center Food Court will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Einstein Bros. Bagels in Donaghey Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Twisted Taco in Donaghey Hall will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The C-Store in the Student Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The C-Store in Bear Village will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Other dining options or concepts may also be available. Check the UCA Campus Dining Instagram account @UCADining and Twitter account @UCACampusDining for the most up-to-date dining hours.
- The HPER Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Student Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Student Health Clinic will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only. Please call 501-450-3136. COVID-19 testing and related questions may also be addressed by calling this number.
- Torreyson Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Library services are available via the website.
- Only limited shuttle service between Bear Village and campus will be provided on Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. by calling (501) 697-5540. This shuttle service is contingent upon there being safe and acceptable driving conditions. More information can be obtained by calling the above listed phone number.
