‘ELVIS LIVES’ coming to UCA on Jan. 28

CONWAY — Elvis Lives!, a musical journey through the life of rock n’ roll’s greatest performer, will be at the University of Central Arkansas’s Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall on Jan. 28 for a 7:30 p.m. performance.

“Elvis lovers will not be disappointed with this dynamic show that celebrates the life of the beloved entertainer,” Amanda Horton, director of UCA Public Appearances, said. “The three Elvis tribute artists have true talent and will take you back in time to celebrate his musical career with stunning costumes, amazing vocals, a live band and rarely seen footage.”

VL4A8391The three tribute artists — Bill Cherry, Jay Dupuis and Dean Z — have all been finalists and champions from Elvis Presley Enterprises’ annual, worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Contest in Memphis.

Along with the live band, dancers and backup singers, Carol Maccri will also take the stage appearing as Ann-Margret, Presley’s co-star in the 1964 comedy-musical, “Viva Las Vegas.”
