Conway Symphony Orchestra holiday concert at Reynolds

Conway Symphony Orchestra presents its annual holiday concert, ?A Conway Christmas,? on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. As a special offer, tickets are only $10 each for groups of 10 or more. Tickets for children and UCA faculty, staff and students are only $5.

Conducted by Israel Getzov, Music Director, ?A Conway Christmas ? features over 70 talented musicians playing both popular and classical music, all with a holiday theme. The orchestra will be joined by UCA?s Dixieland Band, playing Christmas music with a New Orleans spin. Virtuoso violinist Micah Ramchandani of Conway will solo on Vivaldi?s ?Winter? from The Four Seasons, accompanied by poetry originally written for the piece. The concert will also include a new arrangement of Stille Nacht by Manheim Steamroller, and Christmas classics from Tchaikovsky?s Nutcracker. The audience will be invited to sing along with traditional Christmas favorites for a grand finale, concluding with an appearance by Santa himself.

?A Conway Christmas? will be held at Reynolds Performance Hall on the UCA campus and is sponsored by Target. For tickets, call 501-450-3265 or 1-866-810-0012.
