COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC SETS SUMMER STRINGS CAMP

The University of Central Arkansas Community School of Music’s 10th annual Summer Strings Camp is set for July 15-21 on the campus.

The camp is primarily for students in grades 6-12 who have completed at least one year of private lessons or one year of orchestra prior to attending camp.

Daytime activities include rehearsals and special activities including masterclasses, a webinar with young orchestra professionals, ultimate Frisbee and extreme noodling. Night activities, which will be available for commuters and on-campus campers, will include a trip to Wild River Country, movie night and a camp dance, among others.
