CONWAY — The classic-rock favorite, America, with founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, will be in concert at the University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The performance is set for 7:30 p.m.

“’America’ is an iconic band whose timeless hits have been incorporated into pop culture through consistent radio play, and the incorporation of their songs in movies and television,” Director of Reynolds Amanda Horton said. “Original band members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell will take the audience back in time as they play the songs that defined their career. Ticket-holders are in for a treat as they hear these mesmerizing vocals that harmonize like no other.”

In the late 1960s, Beckley and Bunnell met in high school in London and made their way to the top of the charts with their signature song “A Horse With No Name” as well as “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” and “Sister Golden Hair.”

The band earned six certified-gold and platinum records.

Tickets range from $30-$40 for the general public and $10 for children. UCA student tickets are $10 with valid student I.D.
