Tarkka receives grant for research apparatus

Dr. Richard Tarkka, Department of Chemistry, recently received a $23,374 grant for the acquisition of a Luminescence Spectrometer and a Carousel Parallel Synthesis Apparatus. The instruments will allow Tarkka to continue working on a collaborative effort with Bob Gawley at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Trustees approve raises for faculty, non-classified staff

It?s official. Faculty and non-classified staff will see an increase in their paychecks at the end of the month ? a 3 percent increase, that is. The UCA Board of Trustees approved the salary increase at its meeting on Friday.
