Summer commencement for the University of Central Arkansas will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 9 at the Farris Center. The UCA Chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, was awarded the Ruth Hubbard Cousins Chapter Award at the Psi Chi/American Psychological Association National Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii. Parking on campus

Due to the HPER Center expansion and property purchases, some parking lots have been closed and additional lots have been added. Three students from the University of Central Arkansas are participating in the ARK Challenge for a chance to earn $150,000 in business funding. The Registrar's Office says that in accordance with academic tradition, all degree candidates are to be robed in a black cap and gown.
