CALL FOR PROPOSALS

71st Annual Meeting of the National Conference of Academic Deans

“Leading from the Middle”

July 13 – 14, 2017

Those interested in being considered for presenting at the conference should submit a description of the proposed presentation (not to exceed 300 words) including a clear rationale tying the presentation to the conference theme of “Leading from the Middle.” Topics may include, but are not limited to, navigating accreditation, working with government agencies and legislatures, recruiting and retaining students, strategic planning, shared governance, managing faculty, meeting workforce needs, securing external funding, assisting the provost and presidents, etc. Proposals should also include the names of the presenter(s), title, institutional affiliation, and contact information. Individual, group and panel presentations are encouraged.

Deadline for submitting proposals is April 1, 2017. Those whose proposals are accepted will be notified by April 15, 2017, and conference registration no later than May 15, 2017, is required in order to be included in the program.
