Director of the UCA Community School of Music and Coordinator of Music Advising
Jann Bryant, Community School of Music Director and Coordinator of Music Advising. BME-1977; MME-1991; UCA Graduate Asst.-1990-91. Developed and helped establish the UCA Community School of Music in 1990 as a graduate assistant. Full-time faculty member since July 1993. Primary responsibilities have been the administration of the Community School of Music since 1990 and also departmental academic advising since 2000. Duties have also included teaching string class methods, music appreciation and applied violin, as needed.
Professional memberships include SAI, ASTA (served as president, past-president and treasurer), ArkMEA (served on board while ASTA president), ARKAAN and NACADA.
