Dr. Terry and Dr. Joyce Fiddler
Drs. Terry and Joyce Fiddler are the epitome of service and involvement at UCA. Both have had wonderful careers and are now enjoying retirement. Joyce was a former elementary teacher in Memphis City Schools. She later became a professor in the College of Education at UCA, where she focused on childhood education. Terry was a dentist in Conway for over 40 years, and is still involved with Mission of Mercy, which has given thousands of uninsured and low income residents free dental care. Terry also served on the Conway Board of Education for 22 years. Together, the Fiddlers are supporters in many organizations at UCA, including Reynolds Performance Hall, Purple Circle, and the UCA Foundation. Longtime supporters of the UCA Department of Music, the Fiddlers are also helping to organize events, including the upcoming April 6th “SoundScapes” concert. The event, which is a fast paced showcase of the artistry and diverse music at UCA, is free and open to the public. Thanks to Friends such as Terry and Joyce Fiddler, the Department of Music is able to bring a wonderful new concert to the Central Arkansas community.
