MBA Program Overview

The UCA MBA Program consists of 10 courses which can be taken in a variety of scheduling options to better meet each student’s individual needs. Students benefit from faculty who are leaders in their field and are committed to your success.

Flexible Class Schedule
Whether you are a working professional or recent college graduate, our flexible schedule allows you to take courses during day and/or evening. Students can begin the MBA at any time during the year (Fall, Spring, or Summer term).

MBA - International Specialization
The MBA-International Business Specialization is designed for students interested in studying abroad, or seeking a career in the global arena. For students seeking positions with international corporations, as well as entrepreneurs involved in international trade, this specialization will help to further enhance your knowledge of international business issues.

This degree requires completion of the 30-hour MBA plus six credit hours. The additional hours include graduate/undergraduate electives in international business, international culture, foreign languages or internships.

Electives must be taken abroad.

MBA - Concentration in Finance
Students that plan to receive an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance must complete the following 30 hour program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher:
MBA core courses (21 credit hours)
MBA 6301 Decision Modeling in Information Systems
MBA 6302 Accounting for Management Decisions
MBA 6305 Financial Decision Making
MBA 6308 Marketing Strategy
MBA 6320 Strategic Management
MBA 6325 Organizational Behavior
MBA 6330 Operations Management
And three MBA electives (9 credit hours) from the following classes:
MBA 5331 Bank Management
MBA5332 Investments
MBA5333 International Finance
MBA5334Financial Derivatives
MBA5376 Entrepreneurial and Small Business Finance

MBA - Concentration in Health Care Administration
Students that plan to receive an MBA degree with a concentration in Health Care Administration (HCA) must complete the following 30 hour program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher:
MBA (HCA) core courses (24 credit hours)
MBA 6301 Decision Modeling in Information Systems
MBA 6302 Accounting For Management Decisions
MBA 6305 Financial Decision Making
MBA 6308 Marketing Strategy
MBA 6320 Strategic Management
MBA 6325 Organizational Behavior
